We aim to use technology to inspire and support teaching and learning. We create a safe environment for pupils to explore the digital world, teaching them how to become responsible digital citizens. Within each year group, there is an emphasis on staying safe online and pupils are taught to access the online world in a respectful manner; leaving behind positive, digital footprints. They are encouraged to explore a range of technologies, often in a cross curricular manner; to design, create, and present their work. Through computer science, our pupils have the opportunity to explore various hardware and software, to become computer programmers, to code scripts and to debug issues within their own creations. We aim for our pupils to leave Glynne feeling empowered to continue their journey into the ever changing world of technology, equipped with the knowledge and skills they will need in our modern world.
